Chinese Designers Lead the Trend

Recently, the front pages of each newspaper are filled with visits of new appointed president, Xi Jinping. At the moment, his wife, Peng Liyuan is also welcomed by the media for her stylish an decent clothing, which are all Chinese brands. Just as the “Michelle Effect” brought in the European visits, Peng Liyuan also forms her own “ Liyuan Style” in these four visits. In addition, her own elegant demeanor of China’s first lady causes people to focus on Chinese brand an d local designers.
 
Mark an d her EXCEPTION
“Liyuan Style” makes Mark celebrated because the elegant dark blue windbreaker that Peng Liyuan wore when visiting Russia is design by Mark, who is 42 years old now. When he was 23, he won the gold prize in the second BROTHER fashion design competition with the collection, Terra Cotta Warriors. Two years later, he created EXCEPTION with famous fashion designer Mao Jihong. When he was 35, he released his personal brand INUTILITY as the first Chinese designer to attend the Paris Haute Couture Week.
 
Wang Zaishi an d her VEGAZAISHI WANG
VEGA ZAISHI WANG is another famous local brand owned by Designer Wang Zaishi. Named as one of the most chic celebrity, Fan Bingbing is the loyal fans of VEGA ZAISHI WANG. She brought the whole 2009 collection an d then attended 2011 award ceremony dressed in Zaishi’s poncho.
 
Ji Cheng an d her La Vie
On 2013 London spring an d summer fashion show, her collection, Tea, impressed the audience. When it comes to her collection, Yu Liao, the Haute Couture dressed by May Wang (Wang Luodan), is much more impressing.
Ji Cheng is a young designer who was graduated from Italy Marangoni Fashion Design College. In 2002, she created her own brand La Vie, devoting herself on high-grade sportswear. Her works are artistic, functional an d comfortable, filled with Chinese style. However, they are not simply the mixture between Chinese elements an d Chinese symbols but the ornament effect which makes her collection better. Her works are named as the most “after-Chinese” collections on London Fashion Week.
