Some people who do not know the truth may believe that these small windows belong to some big brands if the setting was changed. In fact, they are made by the summer camp students from Shanghai University - MOD`ART International.
Through the breakthrough of little knowledge, summer camp students ushered their first small examination. The teacher divided them into different groups, and then every group was allocated by several students from both marketing and designing classes. The students were asked to design a window for a famous brand with their own creativity and combined with market demand and under the team collaboration.
After one week preparation, it was the time to check the excellent works. Every team member was requested to go up onto the platform and give a presentation about their team’s work in English. Then after a series of comprehensive evaluation, and finally there would be a winning team.
All students made their great effort to make the fit style for their windows for this evaluation. The winning work is Victoria's Secret. This team member created a sexy world with black and pink from the concept of the brand idea, connotation and the differences with other brands, which combined with market trend, marketing method and the type of customers. The window showed young girls’ shy and flamboyant characters by using unique light visual and reflective fabrics to enhance the overall chiaroscuro of the window. Moreover, setting Barbie dolls in front of the window, which was eye-catching and captured the customers’ psychological demands of their age and made them full of purchasing desire.
The students’ English were improved and their creativities were aroused during this activity. And they have learnt the significance of teamwork under the joyful circumstance, which would be benefit to their work in the future.
